Interested in Hosting a NACUC Annual Conference?

Each year during our business meeting at the annual conference, NACUC's members select the conference site for two years later.  Each conference is coordinated by a member of NACUC and the campus that individual serves. The Conference Coordinator serves as an Executive Committee member for three years -- the year before their conference, the year of their conference, and the year after their conference. The Conference Coordinator, with the support of the full Executive Committee, takes the lead on arranging the location, content, and logistics for their conference year. In most cases, the conference meets at or near the host institution, although in some instances a colleague may host a conference in a particularly interesting or appropriate location.

Colleagues interested in hosting an annual conference should come prepared to make their proposal to the full membership business meeting two years prior to their anticipated event (e.g., those hoping to host in 2017 should be prepared to present during our meeting in Nashville in February 2015). Feel free to contact past or current conference hosts (listed on the Executive Committee webpage) for additional information about the details of hosting a NACUC annual conference.
